Meet Little Half Man

My lovely bride gave birth to our fifth child and our first son. He was born at 11:15 AM est, weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz, and is 20 inches long. He has black hair and blue eyes. The girls are at my in-laws and will get to see their new brother tomorrow. Mom and baby are doing well.

Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow. Congrats to you dear daddy. Amazing picture and thanks so much for sharing. Thanks for your comment on my blog - I do need a swift kick in the ass to get going again - you're comment opened up my eyes the most.

Hope the next few days of baby times are wonderful and as restful as can be with 5 kids! :) Take care.

Congrats, Daddy (again)!

Thanks for the response on my blog. However I should really explain it's not all about aesthetics, I want to be able to keep up with my girl and live long without diabetes, as we have a family history. As much as I want the weight gone yesterday, I know it will take personal commitment and a hell of a lot of hard work to get it off and keep it off... i'm not completely vain ;)

weeesplat - LOL, I made my comment because I am so vain and I need to constantly remind myself of all the other reasons for living a fit lifestyle. Good job on striving for health.

lady t - thank you.

Congratulations! You have obviously been doing a lot of "exercising" and no doubt it has contributed to the weight loss. Keep it up...

Oh my goodness, a son! Congrats! I had 2 daughters before my son, and they are sooooo different to raise than girls! I think we relax more with sons.
Welcome to the beginning of a wonderful journey :o))
