Fat Mass: 65.5 lbs. (-0.7)

Last week was a super busy week and this week is no different. My presentation went fine. It was well received. If I get a chance, I will post my outline later this week. I appreciate all your encouragement and well wishes.

Obviously, I was pleased to see the numbers on the scale yesterday. Getting below the next 10 lb. mark is why you are subjected to the gross pictures. I am finally starting to see a difference. From here on out the differences will be more profound as the percent of weight loss will is getting higher with each 10 lb. drop.

I seem to be in a funk lately. I think it has to do with the lack of sunlight and short days. I am seriously considering getting one of those lamps that simulate sunlight. The problem is that they are expensive. I suspect that the price is more marketing than it is materials. I can't imagine that you are really getting value for that price. Maybe, I can get a deal on one this summer. Of course, that does me no good now.

Woohoo! Congrats on getting under the 260!

I know what you mean about the light boxes. I've considered them myself, and like you winced at the cost. Surely if you know what bulbs to get you could probably build one for 5 bucks, so to pay several hundred grates somewhat. I'd like to know whether it would do me any good, but can't afford to risk that amount of money if it doesn't.

Now if they could give a full money back guarantee...

I feel the same way about snowblowers.

You're only just now starting to see a difference? I find that hard to believe! These photos do represent a dramatic change, though. You rock!

Breaking through another ten pound mark is a wonderful accomplishment. The difficulty of doing this as you get rid of the lbs. increases, but (as you point out) so does the impact of getting rid of the lbs.

Re. the light related funk, I can definitely relate. Mine tends to hit me hardest in November or December. From the latter part of this past December through much of January, the negative energy fields around me were intense and my ability to handle them was minimal. The good thing for both of us is that soon it will be Spring.

Congrats on the loss.

I've also wondered about the light boxes. I haven't done much research into them, though. I wonder if it's something insurance would cover? The SAD is worse than normal for me this year. I am desperately craving spring and sun.

I love to come over here and read about your progress. Well done!!!

My partner gave me a light box for my birthday and it really turned things around for me. Mine is called a dawn simulator and I can use it to wake me up in the morning as well as sit by it for a few hours a day. I don't know if it works for everyone, but it definitely worked for me.

I don't know what my partner paid for it, but mine is a Phillips and it doesn't look particularly well made.

Dammit, I always think I come here and leave a comment, but it seems like I never do!

Congrats on the loss man! Those photos are great!

I hope the funk has left you.

Peace
